2018 was easily the worst year of my life. I’ve been in a crime scene, a search party, an ugly break up from an abusive relationship, dealt with emotional abuse and been in more hospitals and conversations with police than I’d like to think about.
For this project, I had to explain my interpretation of a word, phrase or quote. When I looked back on that year, I tried to encapsulate it in a phrase that would help me think forward instead of constantly looking back.
This is a representation of my experience with post traumatic stress, depression and the fire this little Latin phrase lights inside me.
